Jennifer Hobart MRICS

Senior Building Surveyor

Jennifer graduated from Coventry University with a BSC (Hons) in Building Surveying and is a qualified member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors as a Chartered Building Surveyor.

Prior to joining Sillence Hurn, Jennifer worked for a multi-disciplinary consultancy in the Thames Valley area. Jennifer has a particular interest in dilapidations and has spent the last few years specialising in this field whilst still undertaking a variety of building surveying roles, including refurbishments and maintenance works. Jennifer has more recently specified and overseen works to numerous residential properties on one London’s great estates which involved liaising with the listed building officers.

Jennifer is also a current RICS Assessor and actively involved in mentoring and chartership assessments for the RICS. She is also a Mental Health and APC Ambassador for RICS Lionheart and works passionately towards helping those in the profession who are struggling.

On the weekend Jennifer’s go to hobby is baking, creating delectable cakes and cookies, which get brought into the office so that she and her partner do not eat the lot.
