Tell us about yourself and your position within the company?
I am Jack Jiggens, Acquisitions Director and one of the Founding Partners of EXP Property. EXP is the merge of two independently successful development companies. This combined expertise compliments each other to create precision, growth and versatility.
What does your company do?
EXP specialise in developing the highest quality residential, commercial, land and mixed-use space within the Home Counties and London. We hold pride in maximising our projects potential using our teams expertise to deliver exceptional projects and excellent returns.
Can you tell us about your business aspirations over the next few years?
We are currently building out Commercial, Residential and land to the value of £3m in sales, with a pipeline currently of £13m. Our aim is to grow and create high quality property and set a good name for developers.
Who are your clients?
We work with a variety of clients including investors, land owners, other developers, funders and lenders. We also have a special relationship with our brand champions who have been following our journey.
What service did Sillence Hurn provide for you?
We have worked with Sillence Hurn on a few projects to date with them providing services including Project Management and Monitoring Surveying. On our most recent appointment we required them to undertake the pre-contract administration services of a basement conversion into two new residential dwellings. This involved drafting the build contract and advising on the specific warranty set-up, design responsibility and insurance formation between the contracted parties.
How did you find your experience working with Sillence Hurn?
It is hugely beneficial working with a company that has the technical knowledge but also understands the commercial side of our projects. This is hugely important to us having worked with companies in the past who have not considered the commercial perspective. Having known Alex for a long time we have an effective working relationship.
