Sillence Hurn provides a turnkey building surveying and consultancy solution for commercial, retail, industrial, and residential property stakeholders. Our services include building surveys, project monitoring, and project and cost management. In addition, we also provide expert consultancy for dilapidations, party wall matters, and contract administration.

Our Ideal Candidate will BE/have

• MRICS qualified Quantity Surveyor
• PQS experience minimum 3+ years
• Main Contractor or Construction Management QS experience minimum 3+years
• Experience in providing funder monitoring services would be beneficial but not essential
• Detailed commercial and contractual knowledge
• Comfortable preparing reports with excellent client presentation skills
• Excellent risk management and analytical skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of our construction project
  • working alongside our Project Management
  • review architectural plans and prepare quantity needs
  • estimate the quantity and costs of materials
  • prepare contracts and documents
  • set budgets for payments, inventory needs, and materials
  • analyse costs for maintenance and additional building needs

The role is open to part-time and full-time candidates:

Salary: £50,000-£60,000 base salary (DOE)
