BUILDING SURVEYOR (COMMERCIAL)
Searching for a role in building consultancy where you can make a difference?
We're looking for a commercial building surveyor with 7+ years PQE to join our growing team. Our team works with clients across a variety of projects spanning all sizes.
HOW DOES THE ROLE LOOK?
Varied: Lead on various projects for our commercial clients
Full life cycle: Be the trusted advisor for the client and provide advice across all stages from pre-acquisition, planning, co-ordination, and execution of the project
Client Facing: Undertake surveys, provide design and specification service, produce post-contract administration and final account generation
Chartered? That’s us. But you don’t have to be. We’ll pay for all your training and fees to become RICS Chartered. Learn from our in-house APC assessor, or maybe you’re newly chartered and looking for a step-up? We’ll support you along whichever path you choose.
Ready to lead? That’s us. We are always eager to hear from individuals wanting to join us in challenging the industry norm at a senior level.

From how we work to where we work – Sillence Hurn are not your typical building consultancy. Flexible working has been at our core since we were founded in 2019. Set up by Alex Hurn to challenge and inspire a traditional industry, we have grown fast due to our energised team and innovative approach.
We are a close-knit team and looking to grow continuously but we’re not planning any hierarchies here.
We have dedicated sales, marketing, and client service teams who continue to pack our pipeline with variety. We’d say we’re like a corporate onion but without the layers. And fewer layers means our team gets more hands-on experience and can make as much difference as you want. We also offer an EV scheme - great for tax savings!
