Senior Building Surveyor

Steven has over 15 years’ experience as a building surveyor working predominantly within the public sector for a number of local authority organisations. He has worked on projects covering all aspects of the building surveying profession on a wide range of commercial buildings such as museums, entertainment facilities, leisure and retail centres as well as schools and industrial buildings.

Proudest project?

I recently undertook a project to restore the Grade II* listed Guildhall in Andover which is located at the top of the town’s main high street. Approximately 20 tonnes of stone was used to make the repairs which included replacing large sections of ornate hand-carved stone.

How do you switch off?

I like to get outside as much as possible and enjoy walking in the New Forest.

A man with new ideas is a madman, until his ideas triumph.” – Marcelo Bielsa.

Favourite film/book/TV series?

My favourite film Is the 2014 jazz thriller, Whiplash.

Fun fact about you?

I am very average at playing the guitar despite having practiced for over 25 years.
