Alex has a passion for project management and contract administration as well as offering commercial building surveying duties to clients. Alex has experience in project delivery across all sectors, most notably commercial, laboratory, retail and residential.
Alex graduated from the University of the West of England with a BSc (Hons) Building Surveying and has also qualified as a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors as a Chartered Building Surveyor. Prior to founding Sillence Hurn, Alex was a senior member of the building surveying team at a multi-disciplinary consultancy in Hampshire.
Alex has a keen interest in entrepreneurship and can be found attending or occasionally speaking at a range of local and commercial property investment events. Alex also sits on the RICS Matrics Hampshire & IOW Committee having previously served as chairman.
Outside of work you can find Alex on and off of the fairway, battling to keep that single figure handicap.
