David brings 30 years of industry-related experience to Sillence Hurn.
Having gained OND & HNC qualifications in Building Studies. David started out life as an Architectural Technician. Thereafter he followed a Building Surveying route and which saw him obtain a Diploma in Surveying from the College of Estate Management in Reading.
David’s experience covers a broad range of disciplines with his main experience lying in Dilapidations, Party Wall matters and Contract Administration. David takes a pragmatic approach to all matters with the sole aim to benefit his clients.
Alex has a passion for Project Management and Contract Administration as well as offering commercial building surveying duties to clients. Alex has experience in project delivery across all sectors most notably commercial, laboratory, retail and residential.
Alex graduated from University of the West of England with a BSc (Hons) Building Surveying Degree and has also qualified as a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Alex also sits on the RICS Matrics Hampshire & IOW Committee having previously served as chairman.
Prior to founding Sillence Hurn Building Consultancy, Alex was a senior member of the Building Surveying team at a multi-disciplinary consultancy in Hampshire.
Adrian has over 40 years’ experience dealing with all property types and sectors including Development, Extension, Survey and Defect Analysis, Maintenance, Improvement, Repair, Asset Management, Valuation and Business Planning. Qualifying as a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1989. Adrian has since helped train and develop new surveyors, including acting as counsellor for a significant number.
Adrian has worked at all levels in the industry, from trainee to partner in both the public and private sectors, including international and national surveying firms, dealing with a range of clients from Shetlands to Jersey.
